Cold process soap is best left to await it's next use on a dish that has ridges so the soap remains dry. Wooden soap dishes work great, they are easy to keep clean and are inexpensive.

Ceramic Soap Dish

A ceramic soap dish should also have ridges in it to let the soap dry.
